Our location is a perfect setting for a wedding or celebration.  It's quiet, it's rural, there's lots of space for marquees, tipis and parking and enough space for 14 people to stay.

To trump it all, we are a stone's throw from the beautiful medieval chapel of

St Mary Magdalene  on the river front, which is literally a short walk along a path.

​

St Mary’s Boveney has its origins in the 12th century. The church was built for those who worked on the river as bargemen.

​

The building is listed Grade I mainly due to its significantly vernacular interior. It has since gained 18th and 19th Century fittings.

 

It is important to point out that there is no electricity and no running water in the church, but candlelight only adds to the atmosphere.  More information can be found in the visitor leaflet
